Do the double: Horse racing

I was disappointed to see Frankie Dettori pick Alexandros over Secrecy in the Bet365 Ben Marshall Stakes (2.35 Newmarket), although it's understandable that he would choose the horse that has given him the most wins.
But Secrecy shouldn't be considered a second string here, and this course-and-distance winner showed versatility when clocking up some good wins in minor events at Salisbury and Kempton. I have him down in my notebook as an improver and with Frankie jumping ship, Secrecy's odds look artificially high around 3/1.
Celtic scored three goals in the space of 13 minutes against St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup on Wednesday night, but the Saintees battled bravely until the end and almost managed a draw. It wasn't quite enough, however, and the final score of 3-2 saw the home side go crashing out of the tournament. The pair meet again in the SPL this afternoon and the 6/5 about Celtic to land the half-time/full-time result makes appeal (bwin). Neil Lennon was angered by some individual defensive mistakes on Wednesday and is demanding that a number of players up their game going forward, starting today. St Johnstone haven't beaten the Bhoys since April 1999 and despite Wednesday's second-half scare, I reckon it will be business as usual for Celtic, with a decisive victory the most likely outcome.
