DO THE DOUBLE
If Gaelic football were horse racing, Louth would be considered a couple of pounds superior to Dublin based on how close they came to beating Meath -- whereas the Dubs were hammered by the Royals. However`, it's amazing what a confidence-boosting win can do for a team and the Boys in Blue, while far from perfect, looked an improving outfit against Armagh. Take the 4/9 about the Dubs.
The Michael Jarvis-trained Toolain hit 1/100 in-running in his debut maiden last month at Sandown before unseating Frankie Dettori, but we can take it that he would have won quite easily. He made amends at Dunstall Park last time without breaking a sweat and I reckon we'll be hearing a lot more about this Diktat colt before the season is out. A Listed race is a big step up, but this two-year-old is a classy sort and early prices of 9/2 are too high (2.05 Ascot).
