Do the double

Verus Decorus looks tasty around even-money for the Toteplacepot Win Without Backing A Winner Maiden Auction Stakes in the opener at Southwell (12.20). She received a poor draw in her debut race over this course and distance last month, but she stayed on well and her fourth place on paper belies her actual performance on the day. Silent Blessing is a decent animal and could put up a fight; but a dismal run last time out has seen his trainer reach for cheekpieces and it may take a while for him to come back to form.
Just a few short weeks ago, Chelsea were trading around 4/11 to win the Premier League, but a string of tenebrous performances has seen those odds drift out to 8/5. That said, I'd be amazed if they don't get a result this afternoon at home to Everton and Chelsea's win odds today of 2/5 are spot on. The last time the Toffees won at Stamford Bridge was way back in 1994 and they are just about keeping their head above the relegation zone. Back the Blues to return to winning ways this afternoon.
- Last week's double was successful on both legs at an overall price of 17/10.
