Boxing: Duddy returns for Vanda bout time on career Palmer decider
UNBEATEN Irish middleweight John Duddy is scheduled to fight for the first time since last summer against Matt 'The Predator' Vanda on a Bob Arum-promoted show at Madison Square Garden on February 21, WRITES BERNARD O'NEILL.
They are due to clash on the Miguel Cotto/Michael Jennings and Kelly Pavlik/Marco Antonio Rubio undercard.
Derry-born Duddy has spent the last few months embroiled in what has become an increasingly bitter legal wrangle with his New York-based Irish Ropes stable, which is run by Mayo-born brothers Eddie and Tony McLoughlin.
The Derry man, who had a falling out with the brothers amid claims that he was denied a world title shot, won a recent court case allowing him to continue his career without the McLoughlins.

BOHEMIANS look set to snap up Joseph Ndo after he agreed to leave St Patrick's Athletic yesterday alongside goalkeeper Barry Ryan, who has been swiftly replaced by new signing Gary Rogers, writes Neil Ahern.
