SuperLeague leaders UL Eagles remain on top after a 88-72 victory over Moycullen with an admittedly 'scrappy' performance.
Speaking after the game, Eagles head coach Mark Keenan said he was disappointed with his team's performance.
"That was a scrappy game, we didn't play at our full potential but a win is a win," said Keenan.
"Coming down the stretch, experience was a huge factor in the game and we were lucky it was on our side. It was not a good performance on our part at all."
Elsewhere, Killester saw off UCC Demons 85-77.
DCU Saints overcame newcomers Dublin Inter after the game went into overtime. In Cork, Bord Gais Neptune outworked UCD Marian to record another win over the Dublin side. As Neptune's injuries begin to subside, the team are coming into form nicely.
In the women's competition, UL Huskies secured another win and sit comfortably on top of the table.
In Cork, Team Montenotte Hotel beat WIT Wildcats 85-58.
