A MICHAEL Bonaparte-inspired Neptune came from six points behind to beat UL Eagles and book their place in the Superleague final. Their opponents will be champions Killester who had a 96-67 win over Belfast Star.

But the Cork side will have no fears having overcome DCU Saints and the southern conference winners in successive weeks. Their win on Saturday night in Limerick came courtesy of the free-throw accuracy of Bonaparte, who stayed cool to deliver a 90-88 win which delighted coach Pat Price.

"I have spoken about the importance of consistency and since January we have been playing better," he said.

Meanwhile, Team Montenotte Hotel Cork can complete back-to-back women's titles after overcoming DCU Mercy 75-71 to set up a final clash with UL. The Limerick ladies had no trouble accounting for Dynamos, 72-30.
