Paddy Barnes will fight on the same card as Michael Conlan when the latter makes his professional debut in Madison Square Garden on St Patrick's Day.

The two-time Olympic bronze medallist will make his professional debut in the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast on November 5, and has revealed that he'll also fight on Conlan's card in March.

Meanwhile, Monaghan super-fly Christina McMahon will meet Linda Laura Lecca in an historic WBA fight at the National Stadium on December 3.

The bout, the first female world title fight in Ireland, is being promoted by Frank Stacey (FS) Promotions of Dublin at the home of Irish boxing. Peru-born Lecca, the defending champion, has won 12 of her 16 fights, while McMahon has had her hand raised in victory seven times from nine outings.

The Ulster fighter is coming off the back of a spat with the WBC after her controversial loss to Zulina Munoz in Mexico last March.
