The look of disbelief is priceless and his reaction is even better.

Spain's Bruno Hortelano was a very content man as he made his way to the mixed zone to discuss coming second in the final of the 200m European Athletic Championships at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam.

Look at how delighted he was at the finish line.

When a Dutch journalist asked him how he felt about winning gold, Hortelano looked at her quizzically.

What he didn't realise is that replays had shown that Netherlands Churandy Martina had been guilty of a lane infringement and had been disqualified.

His reaction to learning that he had become European champion was priceless. Watch below:
