Irish 400m hurdler Thomas Barr set a season's best tonight to finish third at the Diamond League meeting in Oslo.
Barr, who finished fourth in last year's Olympic in Rio, will be delighted to have run a sub-49 second lap from lane one.
Karsten Warholm delighted the home crowd by shaving a second off the Norweigan national record to win the race in a time of 48.25.
Yasmani Copello of Turkey was second in a time of 48.54 with Waterford native Barr in third in 48.95.
