Paralympic champion appeals for help after her running legs are stolen
World Paralympic long jump champion Vanessa Low has revealed that the prosthetic blades she uses to compete have been stolen.
The German athlete took gold in last October's World Championships in Doha, Qatar, setting a new world record for her classification in the process.
Low uses similar blades to those worn by Oscar Pistorius during his track career, and she has appealed for the return of her equipment ahead of this August's Paralympic Games in Rio.
She was competing at the Desert Challenge Games when the theft took place.
