American Football: Agony for Cowboys
Jay Feely kicked a 48-yard field goal with five seconds to play for the Arizona Cardinals as they pipped the Dallas Cowboys 27-26 in the NFL's Christmas Day clash.
The struggling Cowboys are in the midst of a season to forget and having come from 18 points down to lead in the closing stages, the Texans' nightmare season could be summed up in their late heartbreak.
Dallas had rallied to take an unlikely 26-24 lead when Stephen McGee, making his first NFL appearance after Jon Kitna exited with a second-quarter hip injury, threw 45 yards to Miles Austin for a touchdown with 1:46 to play. But the Cardinals kept their cool and star man Larry Fitzgerald made the play of the day to move them within range, with Feely doing the ultimate damage.
