O'Leary issued three-week ban

Tomas O'Leary received a three-week ban after being sent off against Wasps

London Irish scrum-half Tomas O'Leary has been banned for three weeks following his sending off in last Saturday's Aviva Premiership game against Wasps.

The Ireland international was dismissed for stamping on Wasps flanker James Haskell.

O'Leary pleaded guilty to the offence at a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing in London, the RFU announced.

He cannot play again until March 11, which rules him out of Irish's next two Premiership matches at home to Leicester and away against Exeter.

The case was heard by a three-man RFU panel chaired by Jeremy Summers.

O'Leary was dismissed early in the second-half at Adams Park, but despite being reduced to 14 men, Irish won 23-20.
