Offaly to host Waterford in the pick of the hurling qualifiers

Ollie Baker's Offaly have been rewarded for a bold showing against All-Ireland champions Kilkenny with a home meeting with Waterford in the hurling qualifiers.

The meeting of the counties on June 22 in Tullamore will be the highlight of the preliminary rounds of the hurling qualifiers which also pitted the winners of Dublin and Wexford against Armagh and London will take on Westmeath at Ruislip.

Carlow were the only team remaining in the drum after those three games were drawn so they received a bye into phase one of the qualifiers.

In Phase One of the qualifiers to be played on June 29, Carlow will travel to play Wexford/Dublin or Antrim while London or Westmeath will host the winners of the clash between Offaly and Waterford.
