Martinez should face more flak for Everton slump

Everton manager Roberto Martinez is a talented media manipulator. While Louis van Gaal is facing a never-ending barrage of questions regarding his future, Martinez is flying expertly below the radar.
Never mind that Everton finished 10th last season, 25 points worse off than the previous season.
Never mind the fact that they now sit in 12th place. They have conceded more home goals that any other Premier League side. They have won one in ten and are on a prolonged slump of 18 months
Never mind Everton have arguably their most talented squad ever. Romelu Lukaku, John Stones, Ross Barkley, Gerard Deulofeu, Leighton Baines, Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy would make any Premier League starting XI.
Never mind Martinez has spent £60m in 18 months without having to sell any of his best players, a luxury David Moyes didn't have. Martinez deserves credit for Everton's exciting squad but if he can't get the best out of them, then I don't understand how he escapes questions regarding his future.
