We're 24 hours from the World Cup, which will be the best month of the next four years, so be sure to keep your dial fixed on Newstalk for the extent of the tournament.

We'll be checking in nightly with our own Joe Molloy and we'll hear regularly from Dan McDonnell from this parish.

On top of that, there'll be regular analysis of the games from our pool of contributors both in Brazil and around the globe.

There'll be at least one live game taking place during the programme for the majority of the next month, so whether you're watching the tournament at home or you're out and about, 'Off The Ball' and World Cup coverage go together like a caipirinha and Ipanema beach.
