Johnny Murtagh will decide early next week whether to allow Purr Along to take on some top-class fillies in the Qipco Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket next Friday.

The filly was last of four behind Elusive Kate in the one-mile Group One last summer when trained by William Muir, and could be given another crack by her new handler.

She has already repaid her connections' faith in two starts this year, winning the Group Three Lanwades Stud Stakes at the Curragh on her reappearance and finishing a good third behind Integral in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot.

"She's doing well and we've left her in the Falmouth. We'll have a look at the race and make a decision early next week," said County Kildare-based Murtagh.

"She's in good form and ran well at Ascot."

Just nine fillies remain in the mix for the race, but all of them look to be out of the top drawer, and the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Integral is one of them.

The possibles include multiple Group One winner Sky Lantern, who is expected to strip much fitter than on her reappearance in the Duke Of Cambridge.

Clive Brittain's Rizeena bounced right back to her best in the Coronation Stakes at Ascot and could now tackle her elders.

The Charlie Hills-trained duo of Just The Judge and Kiyoshi, last year's Fillies' Mile winner Certify, Aidan O'Brien's Peace Burg and Mark Johnston's Ascot winner Muteela could all also run.
