Donnacha Ryan and his namesake John Ryan will both miss Munster's RaboDirect PRO12 derby clash with Leinster on Saturday through injury at the Aviva.

Donnacha Ryan visited a specialist today and has been ruled out after injuring his right foot against Benetton Treviso last weekend.

Prop John Ryan also misses out with concussion. The Corkman had to be replaced early on during last Saturday night's 14-3 win over Treviso and is ruled out until he completes the IRB return-to-play protocols.

However, Ireland captain Paul O'Connell, who missed the Treviso game with a 'slight shoulder niggle', took part in the province's training session at the Mardyke in Cork today.
