Mullins quartet head to Downpatrick

Willie Mullins sends four horses up to Downpatrick on Sunday where Westerner Lady looks the part in the Toals Bookmakers Dial-A-Bet 028 90321721 Maiden Hurdle.
She got off the mark in her fourth bumper when taking the spoils by a length and a half in Roscommon. This appears a good starting point for her hurdling career.
Gordon Elliott runs two in this race and his Ultimate Horseman appears the danger. He won his bumper at this venue in May but has been suffering from seconditis over hurdles, with four runner-up finishes in a row.
Listen Dear goes for Mullins in the Lazy Sunday Maiden Hurdle. She demolished the opposition in a course bumper in June when dictating from the front. Similar tactics may reap dividends on her hurdling debut.
Elliott's Bank Bonus might be too strong for the Mullins pair Childrens List and The Bosses Cousin in the Toals Bookmakers Top Of The League For Football Betting Rated Hurdle.
The six-year-old gelding was second in a 20-runner handicap hurdle at Galway which makes him the one to beat.
The Absent Mare contests the downpatrickracecourse.co.uk Handicap Hurdle for Elliott and certainly catches the eye. She won a Perth handicap hurdle and then was fourth to the useful Damefirth in Kilbeggan. That looks solid form in the context of this race.
Elliott also runs Ullswater who was formerly with Emma Lavelle in England.
Edmond Kent's Thanks For Tea has been in great heart with two wins and a second in her last three appearances. It will be interesting to see how she fares stepped up to two miles seven furlongs in the 'Everyone Loves Downpatrick' Mares Handicap Hurdle.
Abarta is two from two at Downpatrick and is hard to get away from in the Sound Of Silver Handicap Hurdle. Luke Dempsey, who was on board for both of those victories, teams up again with Val O'Brien's nine-year-old gelding.
A wide-open bumper concludes the card. Northern trainer Ian Ferguson has prospects with Onemorezero who was third here last month while Blayney Queen can go well for the Crawfords. However, Present Flower is going the right way and should have a say at the finish.
