Move over Donald Trump, Conor McGregor is the big talking point in New York City right now.

The Notorious is just two days away from his mission to create UFC history when he bids to be the first fighter to hold belts in two separate weight divisions by defeating Eddie Alvarez.

Wherever McGregor goes, intrigue and drama follows and this week in the Big Apple is no different.

The Dubliner is well-known to take time out and make his fans feel special and he almost reduced a police officer to tears when he posed for a photograph with her this week.

"My knees are still shaking. Besides my kids been born this is the best day of my life," said the officer.
