Video: Mark Wahlberg gives his views on Conor McGregor's UFC showdown with Jose Aldo
It’s the fight everyone is talking about, including Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg.
The 44-year-old American actor, best known for his roles in The Departed, The Perfect Storm and The Fighter, is in Dublin for tonight’s premiere of Daddy's Home.
The actor flew into the Irish capital last night along with Will Ferrell and was asked his opinion on the eagerly awaited UFC clash between Conor McGregor and Brazilian Jose Also in Las Vegas this weekend.
Wahlberg admitted that he will be supporting ‘The Notorious’ but admits the Dubliner will have his work cut out to emerge victorious.
“You got a whole country voting for him and a whole lot of Irish Americans voting for him,” he told Independent.ie.
“I think this is the fight he’s asked for and it’s not going to be an easy fight. I’m polling for him but you know Jose Aldo is a tough guy
“So in order to be the best you have got to fight the best.”
