Video: Conor McGregor thanks 'inspirational' Carlow man (64) for amazing 'muscle up' clip

Conor McGregor took time out from his strenuous preparations for his UFC featherweight title fight with Jose Aldo in Las Vegas to thanks an amazing 64-year-old from Carlow for his unique message of support.

Willie O'Toole from Rathvilly in Carlow recently saw The Notorious pulling off some difficult 'muscle up' routine on a beach in Brazil and decided to send a video message to the Dubliner before taking on the feat himself.

McGregor was so taken by Willie's exploits that he sent returned a message all the way from Nevada to thank him for support.

"I still need work to get to your level brother but I will keep practicing," he told the Carlow man.
