Conor McGregor is just days away from the biggest fight in his career and he is clearly getting into battle mode.
The Notorious has been spending his days at the gym fine-tuning his tactics for this Saturday’s interim UFC featherweight title bout with Chad Mendes at the MGM Grand.
In the latest UFC Embedded vlog, we see how both fighters enjoyed the July 4 festivities a week out from the fight.
“You’ll see the real fireworks on July 11,” said the Dubliner after witnessing the Las Vegas skyline light up from his seven-bedroom mansion.
McGregor has told his opponent that his wrestling style will not be good enough to defeat him and advised him to have a plan B.
“When you come up against me with a singular approach, it’s not enough,” McGregor added. “If I was to give him [Mendes] some advice, it would be to have a back-up plan.”
Mendes is becoming increasingly bullish and believes the bout will be the biggest in the history of the sport.
“My kids are going to look back on this and say my dad was a part of the biggest fight in UFC history. This is going to be awesome,” Mendes said.
“It’s time to get in there and put on a show. I am going to f**king whoop your ass dude.”
