Video: Behind-the-scenes look at fallout from Jose Aldo's defection in Conor McGregor camp
The latest edition of UFC embedded has lifted the lid on the impact Jose Aldo's shock defection has had on the Conor McGregor camp this week.
McGregor was in New York on Monday for a number of media and sponsorship engagements and was still there when the news broke that Aldo wouldn't fight due to his rib injury.
McGregor reacted to the news in true McGregor fashion and commented: "If a man is scared for his life, we can not force him to step inside and fight me.
"Doctors have cleared him to fight -- it's a bruise -- but he still pulled out.
“Rightfully so, the belt should be taken from him and we will contest for the interim belt or, in my opinion, the real belt."
McGregor returns to his mansion in Las Vegas to prepare for Chad Mendes and seems unconcerned with his new opponent.
"I'm feeling like a world champion," he says during an intense sparring session.
The UFC team also visited the Mendes camp where it was clear he was concentrating on his wrestling and grappling style.
In response to McGregor's jibes, he said: "Conor's like a chihuahua... he's all bark."
