'See you at the weigh ins' – Conor McGregor offers to step in for injured Joe Duffy

Conor McGregor wasted little opportunity to exercise psychological warfare after the UFC star offered to step in and face the American fighter instead of Joe Duffy in Dublin this weekend.
Duffy was due to take on Poirier in the main event in the 3Arena on Saturday but the UFC confirmed last night that he will not take part because of concussion.
McGregor, who secured a first-round KO over Poirier in September 2014, was quick to take to Twitter to offer to step into the breach.
While Poirier confirmed he won't find a replacement – the offer of Norman Parke was turned down – and Dana White unlikely to allow McGregor to step in at two days' notice, it didn't stop the Dubliner from offering his services, while also having a dig at Duffy.
Referencing Duffy's Montreal base in his tweet, McGregor suggested the clean Canadian air was having a negative effect on the Irish fighter's abilities.
