With a nickname like Money, it is obvious that Floyd Mayweather isn't wanting for cash but even knowing that, his reported offer to Conor McGregor ahead of a potential superfight is still eye-watering.
With McGregor's UFC future uncertain, rumours have swirled for weeks that a boxing match could take place between the Dubliner and the 49-0 Mayweather.
Such a fight may sound extremely fanciful, but it would likely be an unprecedented money-maker, especially for McGregor.
With that in mind, the American pugilist is reportedly trying to turn the Irishman's head with a Godfather offer.
TMZ Sports are saying that Mayweather has offered his potential opponent €44.6m to lace up the gloves and fight him in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve.
However, the site also say that any bout would have to be sanctioned by Dana White, and since the offer is less than half of what the fight would reportedly generate, the UFC head honcho is unlikely to agree to those terms.
McGregor was sensationally pulled from the UFC 200 card last month ahead of his rematch with Nate Diaz for failing to fulfil media obligations for the promotion. This week McGregor met with UFC President White as the duo try to thrash out an agreement that will see the marquee fighter return to the Octagon in the near future.
