Conor McGregor's big-hearted coach John Kavanagh has treated a homeless teenager to a day he'll never forget after reading about his terrific Junior Cert results.
Carlos Wolfe, had been forced to sleep rough in the Phoenix Park, achieved seven honours while staying in emergency accommodation on the North Circular Road in Dublin with his mother Lorraine.
The 15-year-old's story moved Kavanagh to the point where he decided to reward his efforts and invited him to train at the now famous SBG gym on the Naas Road.
He was picked up by limo from his school, where he is now preparing for fifth year, and chauffeured to the gym.
Kavanagh posted a picture on Facebook with the delighted teen alongside Irish MMA stars Aisling Daly and Paddy Holohan who received a full UFC-kit bag as well as two VIP tickets to the UFC Dublin event next month.
Kavanagh wrote; "I'm looking forward to training alongside this young man at SBG and learning from his incredible mindset, I have no doubt big things are in his future no matter what path he takes."
