Conor McGregor thanked the Irish UFC supporters tonight ahead of his title unification fight with Jose Aldo.

McGregor promised fans in an electricified stadium in Las Vegas  that they would not be left disappointed after travelling to support him.

“I’m sick of talking about Jose,” he said.

“I just want to thank the Irish People for coming out, it means a lot.”

“Tomorrow night, I’m going to bring that gold home once again.”

As soon as McGregor made his entrance in the MGM, the stadium resounded with chants of ‘Ole Ole’ and a sea of Tricolours greeted the Irish legend.

Love/Hate actor Laurence Kinlan, who is in attendance at the stadium in Las Vegas tonight, described the atmosphere as "insane".
