Miss Elizabeth made it two wins from as many appearances in the Lynn Lodge Stud EBF Median Auction Race at Navan.

Wayne Lordan was content to look on on the 15-8 shot as her two rivals duelled for the lead, but he threw down his challenge just over a furlong from the finish and Edward Lynam's filly was a willing partner as she strode three lengths clear of Blood Moon to supplement last month's Fairyhouse triumph.

Lynam said: "We'll probably step her up into black type now.

"She's bred to be a miler. The others were sprinters and were a little bit too sharp for her early but she picked them up well."

Balmont Mast (4-1) rolled back the years to complete a brace for Lynam in the Country And Western Evening Friday 10th July Handicap.

Robbie Downey drove the seven-year-old to the front a furlong out and he kept going to cross the line two lengths ahead of Oor Jock.

Lynam said: "He works very well at home. Obviously he's getting older but he has taken us halfway across the world. He was placed in a Group One in Dubai and was fourth in Singapore.

"He's not the horse he was but Robbie was riding him work and he was flying for him at home. We let him have a go on him today and it all worked out well. He's a real good 5lb claimer.

"He's won half a million in prize-money and is loved at home. He's had his hardships and was very sick last year."

Zhukova (8-15 favourite) is a daughter of Dermot Weld's Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Nightime and showed plenty of the family talent in landing the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden for the master of Rosewell.

Vilman was a costly failure on his reappearance at Limerick in April but bounced back in style in the Summer Ladies Day Handicap.

Shane Foley made his own pace on the 13-8 shot, who found plenty for pressure to fend off Jack Blue by three-quarters of a length.

Foley and trainer Michael Halford doubled up when Caution landed the Navan Members Handicap.

Rivers Of Babylon dictated terms to suit herself in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race and showed a pleasing attitude to see off market leader Cradle Mountain with the minimum of fuss as a 7-4 shot.
