McCrickard goal sends Fontenoys on their way

LIATROIM F'NOYS 4-13 FOUR ROADS 0-8 Máire Uí Scolaí All-Ireland Junior Club final FOR 44 minutes of the All-Ireland Camogie Junior final, Four Roads of Roscommon led the way but when Caitriona McCrickard got Liatroim Fontenoys' opening goal of the match it gave the Down and Ulster champions great heart and as a result they took home their first All-Ireland Junior Camogie title.

Player of the match, Four Road's captain fantastic Cáit Kenny, was causing many problems for the Down girls as she sent over a total of 0-4 in the opening half which gave them a lead of 0-7 to Liatroim Fontenoys' 0-5 at the break.

But the introduction of Rosalenn McCann for Lisa Quinn at midfield at half-time proved to be a big lift for the Down champions who went on to a comfortable win.
