Lowry set for Accenture Match Play

Ireland's Shane Lowry looks to have secured a place in the Accenture Match Play Championship - and a possible clash with golf's number one Rory McIlroy - by 0.0002 world ranking points.
Winner of the 2009 Irish Open as an amateur and then last season's Portugal Masters, Lowry will play in Tucson next week if Phil Mickelson confirms he is not going to be part of the 64-man field for the second year running.
Swede Fredrik Jacobson needed to come seventh on his own at Pebble Beach if he was to push Lowry down to 66th in the world, but finished joint seventh when American Patrick Reed sank a birdie putt on the final green - and that after driving onto the rocks.
