Wayne Rooney and Rory McIlroy put wager on Carl Frampton vs Scott Quigg title fight

Wayne Rooney and Rory McIlroy have different opinions as to who will win tonight's super-bantamweight title bout in Manchester, so much so that they decided to put some money on the line.

The upcoming title bout between Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg has been a long time coming for fight fans and, as an eager spectator, the Manchester United skipper took to Twitter to reveal who he believed would prevail this evening in Manchester.

Rooney reckons local boy Quigg will get the job done but avid United fan McIlroy thinks the striker is sorely mistaken and sees his compatriot Frampton coming out with the win. So, the lads decided to make it interesting,
