Watch: Jose Aldo was all smiles as he lined out for charity soccer match with Brazilian legends

Conor McGregor's clubbing left hand at UFC 194 has precluded Jose Aldo from partaking in his hazardous profession for the next six months, though that hasn't stopped him from getting in some exercise elsewhere.

Since losing his UFC featherweight title to McGregor just over a fortnight ago in Las Vegas, Aldo has returned to the life of relative obscurity he's enjoyed throughout his career.

However, in the name of charity, the 29-year-old laced up his boots to play in the 'Game against Hunger' match, and was all smiles throughout. An avid Chelsea fan, who once harboured ambitions of a professional career in the beautiful game, Aldo rubbed shoulders with some his most famous compatriots including Roberto Carlos, Robinho and Elano.

Stationed at right full, Aldo looked a little out of his depth at times and was even at fault for an early goal.
