WATCH: Fan posts hilarious video on Facebook after Conor McGregor is crowned UFC champion
Among many other monikers, Conor McGregor has referred to himself as ‘Mystic Mac’ for his ability to not just predict when, but how he will defeat opponents.
And judging by this video made by one of his increasing number of acolytes, the new UFC featherweight champion might have a point.
Last night, in front of a capacity crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Ireland’s favourite fighting son ended the decade long winning streak of Jose Aldo in just 13 seconds.
At UFC 194, his perfectly placed left hook relieved Aldo of his senses and the featherweight title he had held for over five years.
In the lead up to the momentous bout, McGregor had consistently told anyone within earshot that he would dispose of his Brazilian foe inside of one round and, that it would be a counter left hand to an Aldo right, that would prove the telling punch.
Of course, many believed him, but there were a considerable number of doubters dismissing the SBG man’s grand projection for what proved to be the biggest fight in the promotion’s history.
This neatly edited video shows him telling BT Sport’s Gareth A Davies precisely how the contest would unfold, and is punctuated by footage of the 27-year-old doing an impromptu rap while cycling on the UFC’s Embedded series.
It’s pretty funny.
