Video: Keep on truckin' – Cian Healy goes for pre-season training with a difference

Published 07/08/2014 | 13:25

Cian Healy demonstrated the strength that has made him one of the most powerful props in world rugby by towing a truck on Dublin's Dollymount strand.

Pre-season is well underway at this stage with players in all four provinces being put through their paces with the start of the season just weeks away.

The Ireland and Lions loosehead prop decided to break from the conventional pre-season drills by heading to his native Clontarf and putting his renowned physique to the test on Dollymount Strand.

Healy says that he has been trying this particular method of training since he was 13 years old and first pulled his dad's car.
