The Clare Senior Hurlers have taken on the Crossbar Challenge to raise money for the Irish Heart Foundation and Cahercalla Hospice.

The team took on the challenge before training at Cusack Park in Ennis, Co. Clare, last Tuesday, and the video has racked up over 50,000 views on YouTube in that time.

The Clare Senior Manager, Davy Fitzgerald, then nominated Waterford Senior Hurlers to take on the challenge next.

The team are asking that all funds raised by the challenge split evenly between the Irish Heart Foundation and  a local charity of each team's choice.

Watch Clare's attempt below - are Waterford up to the challenge?

The video has been viewed almost 60,000 times.
