Video: Cheerleaders from Boston College and Georgia Tech visited Independent.ie today

Cheerleaders from Boston College and Georgia Tech were in Dublin today to help promote the September’s Aer Lingus College Football Classic in the Aviva Stadium.

They dropped into Independent.ie to discuss the game, their workout schedule, the risks they face and their excitement about coming to Ireland this autumn (watch above).

Tickets for the game between Boston College and Georgia Tech, the third college game to take place in Ireland in five years, going on general sale through Ticketmaster at 9am next Wednesday, April 6.

Ticket sales to date, predominantly in the United States are in excess of 20,000 and all the indications are that the game on Saturday, September 3rd will be a complete sell out as the Navy vs Notre Dame was in 2012, an event that brought a direct economic benefit of over €85 million to Ireland.

The game will be broadcast live by ESPN globally.

Tickets for the Aer Lingus College Football Classic between Boston College and Georgia Tech go on sale next Wednesday, April 6 at 9.00am on Ticketmaster.ie. Ticket prices range €35 to €110 for premium level. There are a number of family tickets (2 + 2) available from €120, all subject to booking fees.
