Video: Bum-gate Jara has previous for inserting his finger in opponents' anuses
The Chilean player who stuck his finger in Edinson Cavani's anus at a Copa America match will now miss the rest of the tournament and could be sold by his embarrassed club, Mainz.
The incident, which took place during Chile's match against Uruguay, saw Gonzalo Jara sticking his finger into Cavani's bottom before falling theatrically to the ground when the Uruguayan slapped him in retaliation.
Cavani was sent off for a second yellow card after the incident, and Chile won the match 1-0.
But now the 29-year-old has been banned from the rest of the competition, meaning he will miss a memorable semi-final against Peru as well as a potential final.
And, as if that wasn't bad enough, his club sports director at Mainz, Christian Heidel, has said they are willing to let him go.
He told Bild:"He knows that if an offer comes he can go.
"We do not tolerate that. More than the prod, however, it is what comes afterwards that makes me angry. I hate theatrics more than anything."
Jara is likely bummed out by the whole episode, and presumably just wants to pull his finger out and get his sorry backside back to work.
It's not the first time Jara has been caught doing this particular dirty trick on the field, though, as he tried it on Gonzalo Higuain with considerably less success:
