Jurgen Klopp suffered his first defeat as Liverpool manager against struggling Newcastle United, but the unexpected loss had one silver lining for Jamie Carragher.
Georginio Wijnaldum handed under-pressure head coach Steve McClaren some welcome relief as the Magpies beat in-form Liverpool to slightly ease their relegation fears.
Sky Sports pundit and Liverpool stalwart Carragher was disappointed to see his beloved Reds slip to a defeat in their quest for a Champions League spot, but the game saw Martin Skrtel equal an unwanted club record with Carragher.
The teak tough Slovakian defender deflected his shot past Simon Mignolet for his seventh own goal in a Liverpool jersey, equal with the club legend, and the analyst posted his pleasure on his Twitter account.

"The only positive of the day!" he posted on his official Twitter account with a link to a Sky Sports stat stating that Skrtel had equalled Carragher's record of seven own goals.
The outright Premier League record belongs to former Republic of Ireland defender Richard Dunne who put past his own goalkeeper on 10 occasions in the colours of Manchester City, Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers.
