Paul Galvin swaps the classroom for the chopper

Jack O'Toole

Former Kerry forward turned fashionista Paul Galvin took to Instagram on Monday to show off his new luxurious modes of transport.

Galvin, a former teacher at St Brendan’s College Killarney, left the secondary school education  system in 2010 to enrol in a fashion course in Dublin Institute of Technology, where he quickly launched his own website specialising in men's hair products, before eventually teaming up with Dunnes Stores in 2015 to launch his own 'Born Mad' menswear range.

The new line appears to be going quite well for the Lixnaw native who seems to have no regrets about his career change, captioning his Instagram post with the message: "D'ya miss the teachin'......?"

Galvin is currently playing with St. Oliver Plunkett's in the Dublin Senior Football Championship.
