There was a lot of discussion online as to what was going on in the pic, which had two men in their underwear and sock hitting each other with pillows in public.

The two men were dressed in the jerseys of the teams due to clash this Sunday at the All- Ireland GAA Senior Football Final.

The mystery of the fitting fight has been solved, however, as 'Pop The Cherry Comedy' founder Duane Doogan revealed to Independent.ie that the photo was snapped during the filming of a promotional video for their upcoming comedy gigs.

The group were looking to promote the start of their Whelan's residency on Monday the 21st of September. The comedy group will be performing at the venue weekly.
