Liverpool goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux has been sent back from a loan spell at Swindon Town after turning up late for training with reports suggesting he paid his fine in pennies.
The 21-year-old signed for Liverpool from Tottenham last year but joined the Robins on a season-long loan at the start of the season.
Vigouroux was on the bench for last Saturday's defeat by Colchester, but his attitude at the club was understood to have angered manager Mark Cooper and senior players.
BBC Wiltshire revealed earlier today that the 21-year-old had his loan stay in Wiltshire cut short, returning to parent, with the final straw his late arrival for training.
The Daily Mail reports that the goalkeeper turned up with his £50 fine in bank bags full of pennies.
Cooper would only confirm that the incident was a "disciplinary internal matter" and has been dealt with by the club.
