As if Arsenal's late concession of an equaliser to Crystal Palace wasn't enough of a downer on Gunners fans' Sunday evenings, Jack Wilshere's massive Twitter boo-boo has now added insult to injury.
Tweeting a simple message of "#AFC #Together", the England star included an image of the Arsenal club crest... above a silhouette of Manchester United's 'Holy Trinity' statue.
The statue stands outside United home ground of Old Trafford, and depicts former players Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best and Denis Law.
Arsenal's title hopes were all but extinguished with a 1-1 home draw with Crystal Palace, but midfielder Wilshere's attempts to steady the ship have backfired enormously.
The unfortunate tweet was up for the best part of an hour before Wilshere appears to have removed it from his account.
You really couldn't make this up and if Gooners weren't shaking their heads after Sunday afternoon's capitualtion on the pitch, you can imagine they will be now.
The only way is up, surely?
