Republic of Ireland international Robbie Brady picked up the Young Player of the Year at the FAI International Awards last night, and one of his club team mates couldn't resist the chance of some lighthearted ribbing.
Brady scored a crucial winner as Norwich exited the Premier League relegation zone with a 1-0 victory over West Brom at the Hawthorns on Saturday before picking up his accolade last night, but it hasn't all been plain sailing for the Dubliner recently.
The 24-year-old will undergo a scan on a shoulder injury he picked up in the success over the Baggies and he lost two teeth after clashing with team mate Gary O'Neill in the defeat to Chelsea earlier this month.
"I cannot even remember what happened - it was like a car crash," explained the 24-year-old about the collision which came after he scored the winner.
"I've had a rough time recently, with losing a couple of teeth a few weeks back.
"I just put my foot in and he just put his foot down like an American football tackle - he hit me across the ankles. Hopefully, everything goes okay in the scan because I'm desperate to play in these games."
Brady was lauded on Twitter after picking up his gong but O'Neill decided the time was right for some trolling.
