TV personality Piers Morgan has responded to Roy Keane's criticism of Arsenal's attitude in true Piers Morgan form.

The Republic of Ireland assistant manager was withering in his assessment of the Gunners' title chances, suggesting they are too obsessed with selfies and six packs.

"Ah listen, we have the same thing every year," Keane asserted.

"There's too many Arsenal players interested in selfies, whatever they are, and six-packs. Instead of focusing on winning Premier League titles, it's all about how their bodies look and how their hair is. More so than winning football matches is the way things are going."

Morgan, a big Arsenal fan, has suggested there is a very good reason why the former Manchester United captain isn't a fan of the selfie phenomenon.

"If I looked like Roy Keane, I wouldn’t take selfies either," he posted to his 4.5m Twitter followers.
