The online entertainment is continuing with the second half of 'Showdown Sunday' - Ireland v Poland in the Euros.

Following the excitement online during the Ireland v France rugby match, Twitter users are now tackling the soccer.

Shane Long was stretchered off the pitch, making him the fourth removal due to injury in three hours. Irish tweeters did not miss this fact, tweeting "Irish sports stars will be keeping the medical industry in business!"

Irish fans are not impressed with Poland's Lewandowski, accusing him on social media of "diving", with one writing: "he's spent more time flopping to the ground than he has upright!"

Those who have watched both matches made a joke of 'Showdown Sunday', tweeting "you know you've been watching too much RWC when you're watching #POLvIRE and for a split second think 'Ah he's after passing it forward!".
