Eager fan tries to get a selfie with Usain Bolt…and fails miserably

Published 03/08/2014 | 14:24

An enthusiastic supporter at the Commonwealth Games yesterday was convinced he had captured a selfie with sprinting star Usain Bolt, but forgot one key part of the process.

The Jamaican was again the main attraction in Glasgow yesterday, part of  the victorious 4x100m relay team and one fan in the crowd was convinced he has the once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity.

Only after checking his phone did he realise that he'd taken the picture with his camera facing the wrong way and soon tweeted his disappointment.

It was quickly picked up, with BBC even mentioning it during their live coverage.
