David De Gea's recent Facebook activity sparks rumours of Man United departure
It doesn't take much to generate transfer speculation in the month of January and David De Gea's activity on Facebook has sparked rumours of a Manchester United departure.
The Spanish international was strongly linked with a return to his native Madrid during the summer as a move to Real looked imminent.
Indeed the 25-year-old Spain goalkeeper was left out of United's team by Van Gaal at the start of the season ahead of an anticipated return to Spain, but the deal fell apart in the final moments of the transfer window.
De Gea's future was initially uncertain but Van Gaal reinstated him and he has signed a new United contract which runs until 2019.
It has been suggested that the player wants out again after he changed his Facebook profile picture.
The new image features the goalkeeper with the Man United crest removed from the kit.
De Gea joined the Red Devils in a British record fee for a goalkeeper of around £17.8m in the summer of 2011.
