It has become one of the most viewed and talked about penalties of all-time, but one high-profile GAA figure was left decidedly unimpressed by Leo Messi unusual penalty against Celta Vigo.
The Argentinian handed strike-partner Suarez a hat-trick on a plate with an audaciously taken penalty as Barca hit Celta Vigo for six.
Messi rolled his 81st-minute spot-kick into Suarez's path to allow him to complete his treble as Barca recovered from a low-key start to win 6-1 and maintain their place at the top of the Primera Division table.
Had Messi scored the penalty himself, it would have been his 300th Primera Division goal.

Social media has been awash with superlatives for the penalty, but eight-time All-Ireland winner Richie Power was critical of the goal.
Just seen the Messi penalty, complete disrespect to the opposition. Not something you expect from the best player in the world #notimpressed— Richie Power (@power_richie) February 14, 2016
Power, who recently announced his retirement from the game after a series of injuries, took to Twitter to voice his critical opinion on the much-talked about gioal.
"Just seen the Messi penalty, complete disrespect to the opposition. Not something you expect from the best player in the world #notimpressed," he wrote.
