Dining with Bill Clinton is just another afternoon for golf superstar Rory McIlroy.

The Co Down ace had a chance to catch up with the former US president for lunch.

He posted a picture of their meeting on social media and said it was always ‘an education spending time in his company’.

Rory’s presidential circle of friends is not limited to Mr Clinton.

Last week George W Bush performed the ALS ice bucket challenge after Rory nominated him to take a drenching.

While the Open champion was hanging out with Clinton, Rory’s pal Graeme McDowell was celebrating the first few days of fatherhood.

Golf star Graeme shared news of the arrival of his first child, a girl, by posting pictures online.

His wife, Kristin, gave birth by caesarean and her thrilled hubby rushed to share the first snaps.

Kristin looked glowing as Graeme planted a kiss on his baby’s head.

“Welcome to the world to our beautiful daughter. 7lbs 4oz at 6.04am August 25th 2015. Name to be confirmed,” he wrote online.

Both Kristin and the baby are doing well.
