Bernard Brogan and Paul Galvin engage in witty Twitter banter as Kerry legend makes debut for Plunketts
Four-time All-Ireland winner Paul Galvin made his debut for St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh today and it looks like he could provide competition for Dublin star Bernard Brogan at the club.
Galvin, the 2009 Footballer of the Year, confirmed during the week that he had joined the Cabra club and will team up with former foes in the shape of the the Brogan brothers.
The 37-year-old lined out at corner-forward for his adopted club today and 2010 Footballer of the Year Bernard took to Twitter to tell the Lixnaw native not to get used to that position.
He tweeted: "Welcome to the parish @pgal10 don't get to used to that number though"
@bernardbrogan that's yours whenever you want it. I can play anywhere....— paul galvin (@pgal10) February 19, 2017
Galvin responded: "@bernardbrogan that's yours whenever you want it. I can play anywhere..."
It is going to be a lot of fun if you are following Plunkett's in 2017
